Carol Mae Bradley, was born to the late Fred and Mary Peterson on Janurary 3, 1926. she departed this life on friday, august 16,2002. She precedes in death one son Melvin Bradley
As a child she lived and grew up in Enfield N.C. and was educated in Halifax County School System. She joined Daniel Chapel Baptish Church at a early age.
On December 8, 1942, Carol united in marriage with John Bradley Sr. to this joyous union was born seven children. she was a loving devoted and protective wife and mother.
She was a mother and grandmother to everyone, and was loved and respected by those who came into her presence. What the heart has once owned it shall never lose. She will surely be missed.
Carol is survived by her loving and devoted husband for (60 years) John Bradley Sr. four daughters, Shirley McDaniel(George) of Washington DC, Janice Bobbitt (Wilford) of Enfield N.C. Gloria Johnson (David)of Maryland and Annie Bradley of Roanoke Rapids N.C., two sons, John Bradley Jr.(Lillie) of Enfield N.C. and Abraham Bradley (Verna) of Gaston S.C. One goddaughter Arlene Barfield, four sister Martha Richardson, Irene Wiggins, Margaret Crews and Elizabeth Lacey, two brothers Richard and Paul Peterson, twenty grandchildren, twenty-four-great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
A heart of gold stopped beating, two shinnin eyes at rest: god broke ours heart to prove he only take the best. God knows you had to leave us, but you did not go alone, for a part of us went with you the day he took you home. To some you will be forgotten, to others just part of the past, but to us who loved and lost you, your memory will always last.
